"John Cho and Kal Penn Are Leading Men From Out of the Blue"

ATLANTA: John Cho and Kal Penn are still in awe that they have the leading roles in the film "Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle." "Its pretty amazing," says Penn. "No, its more than that it is crazy! Can you believe it? I can't""

"You know I just didn't want to be waiting tables at the end of my career," seconds Cho. "I mean to have this happen now is unbelievable. Really wild."

Also unbelievable is the fact that people ask Kal if he and Sean Penn are brothers. "Can't you see it?" he laughs. "The family resemblance is so strong."

These two stars are in Atlanta to beat the drum for their movie, and they are enthusiastic about it to say the least. "It was just a great, fun way to make a movie," says Cho. "It was cold and we filmed most of it at night but that's about the only negative thing I can say."

When asked about Neil Patrick Harris, who is also in the film, Penn says, "He was the nicest guy. Not anything like he plays in the film. He was just funny and relaxed."

"You have to admit he is a good sport," adds Cho. "What other actor do you think would have done a part like that and done it so good?"

The two actors have a great rapport in the movie and also have it in real life. They are asked if they are planning to go through their careers as a comedy team. "No, we will do separate stuff, but we did sign on for two sequels as Harold and Kumar," says Cho.

This brings up wild ideas about "Harold and Kumar Go To the Moon," or "Harold and Kumar's Mission To Mars." But Cho says the first sequel will be "Harold and Kumar Go To Amsterdam." "That one was set up in the movie and is already planned," he says. And as for the third one? "I honestly don't know," says Penn.

"You don't?" says Cho. As Penn shakes his head, Cho says, "Do you want to know? It is 'Harold and Kumar Go To Las Vegas'."

So you can look forward to seeing these two guys a lot in the future. Two sequels planned already and there could be many, many more. After all they still haven't gone to McDonald's, Hardee's. Burger King or Wendy's.
