"Funniest Commercials of the Year: 2007"

At this time of the year we are constantly reading about the ten best this and the ten best that. It is a national obsession. We have to know what the best of everything is. In keeping with this trend and tradition TBS has a one hour show titled "Funniest Commercials of the Year: 2007." This show highlights the top ten funniest commercials of this past year.
The voting was handled through the TBS website
veryfunnyads.com. The viewers have voted and this show lets us all see who won. It is not just commercials from the United States that are in the running. This is a world wide affair.
Kevin Nealon of "Saturday Night Live" fame is the host of this one hour show. He is a deft comic whose best lines sometimes sail over our heads. So listen closely to everything he has to say. You will be surprised with just how witty and thought provoking he can be.
Some of the commercials are very funny and some are not so much. Even some of those in the top ten are just mildly amusing. Still I do have to say the winner, which I am not revealing here, is one of the funniest.
Most of us spend our time Tivoing programs so we can skip the commercials. For this one hour we sit rapt as commercial after commercial unfolds. Life is funny! And so are most of these commercials.
"Funniest Commercials of the Year: 2007" airs on TBS, Wednesday, December 26 at 9PM. As you wind down from the Christmas celebrations this might just be the perfect program to pick you up. |
