“Ghost Hunters/Destination Truth” (Sci Fi Channel)
The Sci Fi Channel has two very popular reality series. They are “Ghost Hunters” and “Destination Truth.” These shows have a solid fan base and the start of new episodes is a big event. Well that time has arrived.
“Ghost Hunters” kicks off with the crew taking a trip to Buffalo, New York to investigate a building which now houses a museum. In the past it has been a church and then a funeral parlor. Supposedly there is a lot of paranormal activity going on in this building so Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson take their crew to investigate.
While there they do find some evidence of “abnormal” activity but you will have to wait and watch the show to see what it is. What is fun about seeing these guys in action is that they never seem too bold in their pursuits. If they think something is coming after them, they are out of there.
On “Destination Truth” Josh Gates takes his crew first to Australia to investigate the claim of a “bigfoot” type creature roaming around. This crew had some success with another “Bigfoot” sighting in another country so they are eager to push their luck and try for a second finding.
Later the group goes to Malaysia to investigate an abandoned mosque. There are claims that ghosts appear to any male who stays inside the mosque for a length of time. Our guys give it a try, and they even let the female member of the crew take a turn.
“Ghost Hunters” premieres at 9PM on Wednesday, September 3. “Destination Truth” airs at 10PM on that same night. Both shows are seen on the Sci Fi Channel. |
