“Ghost Hunters” (Syfy Channel)

The sixth season of “Ghost Hunters” kicks off this month on the Syfy Channel. It looks like this sixth season may well be the charm for the ultra successful show. The premiere episode takes place at the Otesaga Hotel in Cooperstown, New York and this time out the “hunters” really do get some sights and sounds which will amaze their audience.

The call comes in from the Otesaga Hotel while the guys are out working on an air conditioning unit (they do have to have a day job after all). They immediately get the crew together which includes lead investigators Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson, along with Kris Williams and Amy Bruni, plus two guys with whom I was not familiar named KJ and Britt.

The Otesaga is a five story hotel and both staff and guests have complained of strange sounds and apparitions. Some staff members have quit and some guests have left saying they were afraid to stay. Jason and the full crew immediately get a tour of the hotel and take notes on all the complaints and reports.

Once the investigation starts there is enough discovered to keep you glued to your TV set. These findings and the proof of the findings are the most explicit I have seen since I started watching the series.

There are many, many fans who watch this show and its spin-offs religiously. Every time a new clue or piece of evidence of paranormal behavior is observed they rejoice. In this episode at the Otesaga Hotel there is enough to keep them excited for weeks.

There obviously has been enough interest in this show and its subject matter to keep folks coming back for more – as six seasons prove. So get yourself into a ghostbusters mood and tune in to the Syfy Channel on August 25 at 9 PM.
