"Ghost Hunters International"

“Ghost Hunters International” (Syfy Channel)

First there was “Ghost Hunters” on the Syfy Channel and it proved so successful that it justified a spin-off titled “Ghost Hunters International.” This show takes viewers all; over the world as a team of paranormal investigators try to verify or debunk mythical haunted sites. During this summer season of the show, the team will go to places even more exciting than those already seen.

In the first episode of this season the team goes to Nottingham, England and the “Galleries of Justice” located there. If there actually was a Robin Hood he was imprisoned here for a time. The team has three new members – a new investigator and two “Ghost Hunters Academy” graduates.

This locale is a huge building with tunnels and dungeons everywhere. The staff here has more than enough information about people who have seen “sights” and experienced visitations. There is even a place where supposedly transfigurations have taken place.

This is a ghost hunters paradise. If ever the crew should be able to get some authentication of events, this is it. Were they successful? Well you will have to watch the show to see that outcome.

I have never been a major fan of these shows but my wife and my grandkids think they are wonderful. If I am going to watch I want a big payoff, not just some ”Did you hear that?” sounds.

Still the team does seem to know what it is doing, and they do appear dedicated to tracking down any and all sightings and sounds. For this they are to be commended.

So if you are into the paranormal and like seeing “ghosts” tracked down then this is the show for you. It might not be great TV but for aficionados it is compulsory watching. Believe me, I know.
