"Guess Who Is Coming To Video"

Ashton Kutcher and Bernie Mac co-star in the romantic comedy "Guess Who." It is loosely based on the old Spencer Tracey/Katharine Hepburn/Sidney Poitier film "Guess Who's Coming To Dinner."

In the film, now available on video, Theresa (Zoe Saldana) takes her boyfriend Simon (Kutcher) home to meet her parents. She has told them all about Simon except for the fact he is white. Theresa's dad (Mac) is not happy with being kept in the dark and tries to discourage this relationship.

Mac and Kutcher make good comic foils and the fun that arises from this situation is enjoyable. The movie is not great comedy but it is an okay video to watch.

Ice Cuba and Lori Petty star in the drama "The Glass Shield: Collector's Edition DVD." Cube plays a rookie cop and Petty is a deputy. They find that there are unlawful elements within their group and must decide whether to stay silent or expose the corruption.

Cube is one of the most exciting actors on the screen today and Petty holds her own with him. They are a powerful duo and make the story and action come alive.

The DVD also features interviews with Director Charles Burnett and composer Stephen James Taylor. The extras plus the movie make this an exceptionally entertaining DVD that you will not want to miss.

There is also a collector's edition of the film "My Left Foot" available now on DVD. This movie stars Daniel Day-Lewis and Brenda Fricker as Christy Brown and his mother.

Christy was born with cerebral palsy and had to overcome all types of adversity in his life. His mother was his biggest supporter and it was she who guided him to greatness. Seeing him get there is as inspirational a film as you will ever see.

Don't miss this chance to see this awesome motion picture one more time. It is truly one of the great ones.

Another Japanese anime type film is also available this week. It is titled "My Neighbors the Yamadas." This film is based on a popular Japanese comic strip of the same name and tells all about a family named Yamada that consists of a father, mother, son and daughter.

A look at the day to day life of this family is what the movie is all about. It is fun and entertaining; and it gives us a glimpse into the everyday life of a traditional Japanese family.

The Baby Einstein Company has a new video out through Disney and it is titled "Disney's Little Einsteins - Our HUGE Adventure." In this film the baby Einsteins go into the worlds of art and nature and interact with the pictures, places and people they find there.

In this HUGE adventure they take up the cause of a caterpillar that is trying to find it's way to becoming a butterfly. The adventure is carried out with a background of Beethoven's music and visuals that range from Van Gogh to Navajo art.

This is an educational, informative and entertaining video and one your child will cherish. Make sure you bring it home today.

Sela Ward and Billy Campbell starred in the always entertaining and ever intriguing "Once and Again." This TV series was created by the makers of "thirtysomething" and had all the intelligence and relatability of that series.

In "Once and Again: Season 2" all twenty-two episodes are offered for your viewing pleasure. In this season Ward's family and Campbell's family are finally united through marriage, but this doesn't mean that things start to run smoothly. You see all the problems and differences such an arrangement can bring about.

Ward and Campbell are both excellent but keep an eye out for Evan Rachel Wood who plays Campbell's sensitive daughter. She is on her way to major stardom.
