"J-Lo vs J-Fo"

Jane Fonda came storming back on to the screen in the hit comedy "Monster In Law." Now you can see her in all her glory on DVD. The movie is full of fun, and features not only Jane Fonda but also Jennifer Lopez as her "beloved" potential daughter-in-law.

Michael "Alias" Vartan plays the man who brings them together. He plays Fonda's son and Lopez' fiancée'. He is good in his role but the film belongs to the ladies. Even Elaine Stritch has some great moments at the very end of the movie.

So for some light-hearted, lightweight entertainment you will want to pick up a copy of "Monster In Law." Jane Fonda has always been good at comedy (remember "Barefoot In the Park") and she comes through one more time.

If you watched "Empire" this summer on ABC, or are currently watching "Rome" on HBO; then you might want to complete your entertainment of this sort by renting/buying "Nero." This DVD stars Hans Matheson in the title role, and also features such fine actors as Mattias Habich and Laura Morante.

The story of Nero is a bloody one and is full of treachery, revenge and deception - all those things that make for a good epic. So forget about Julius Caesar for a while and focus on another famous Roman. It is Nero and he is just as fascinating.

The big thing in DVD's these days is a compilation set of TV episodes. One of the biggest to come out in recent days is "Lost: The Complete First Season." This ABC show took the country by storm and gathered a huge fan base. But there were some who didn't jump on the bandwagon the first year but plan to catch the second season. This "First Season" DVD is the perfect way to catch up.

All 24 hours are featured and you can watch them in sequence from beginning to end. ABC angered some fans by showing some episodes out of order this past summer.

Now is your chance to catch up, study up, and add up all the clues and strange happenings. If you want to see a great TV series then watch "Lost: the Complete First Season."

It has been ten years since we first were treated to the movie, now a classic, "Toy Story." That film about the dolls and their adventures made film history and put Pixar animation on the map. Tom Hanks and Tim Allen provided the voices of Woody the cowboy and Buzz Lightyear, and they were perfect for the parts.

Now you can get "Toy Story: 10th Anniversary Edition" and enjoy this great movie plus a ton of extras. It is all available and waiting for you and your family.

"The Cosby Show's" Raven-Symone has found a new niche in the TV series "That's So Raven." In this show she plays a young girl who gets glimpses into the future from time to time. She has a tight set of friends and a family that loves her.

You can get four episodes (one never before seen) of this Disney Channel treat on DVD this week. The disc is titled "That's So Raven: Disguise the Limit" and it is a perfect fun filled family adventure.

You can also pick up "Phil of the Future" Gadgets and Gizmos," This is another Disney Channel series and again you can get four episodes of Phil's adventures (once again an unseen episode). He is a teen from the future who has gotten stuck in the present day, and living the life of a regular teen is a fun thing for him to do.

"Phil of the Future" is more family fun. And once again it is from the Disney Channel to Disney Home Video.

Finally there is "Timeless Tales." These are classic stories brought to life in a magical way by your favorite Disney animators. They are collected in two volumes and will give your child hours of perfect family entertainment.
