Jackie's first two books JOURNEY OF A GENTLE SOUTHERN MAN and CHANCES AND CHOICES were reprinted and published by Mercer University Press in July 2004. His third collection of stories HALFWAY HOME was published by Mercer University Press in October 2004. His fourth book THE BOOKBINDER was published by Mercer University Press in September 2006.  His fifth book THE SUNRISE REMEMBERS was published by Mercer University Press in September 2008.
